ACU Commends Ministry of Education, Observers, and Authorities for Successful Baccalaureate Exams

PHNOM PENH: The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) has commended the efforts of officials from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, exam observers, and relevant authorities, for successfully organizing the two-day high school baccalaureate exam process this year with a high sense of responsibility, adherence to provisions in force and timely response to any incidents.

The ACU commends all the volunteer observers who dedicated their time to contribute to the process of education reform, aimed at strengthening and expanding the quality of education for younger generations.

"Youth are a valuable resource, a powerful force in driving the development of society, so young people must use their youth to benefit themselves, their families, and society as a whole,” the ACU stated.

The ACU also commended the Union Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) for organizing volunteer observers to monitor the high school diploma examination process this year and in the past.

"This meaningful gesture demonstrates a strong will to participate in the implementation of education reform programs and to strengthen the capacity of the younger generation as human resources for a stronger Cambodian society," the ACU said.

On Monday, 5 December 2022, more than 3,000 ACU officials and volunteer observers participated in the examination process, ensuring four main principles: the principles of law, justice, transparency, and acceptable results.

2022 marks the eighth year and ninth time that the ACU has cooperated with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to observe the high school baccalaureate examination process.
